 SQL Server Reporting Services



Full SQL Server 2005 support has arrived in version 3.5 of OfficeWriter.

OfficeWriter allows users to design and deliver Excel and Word reports over the Web without ever leaving Microsoft Office. Without OfficeWriter, Reporting Services can not offer Word rendering and has limited Excel support.

Microsoft SQL Server 2005A few of the new Reporting Services features in v3.5:

  • Full SQL Server Reporting Services 2005 support
  • Add real Excel and Word to reports designed in Visual Studio 2005
  • Render Excel and Word reports from the same RDL file
  • Continued support for SQL Server 2000 report definitions
  • A collection of new Reporting Services samples

Support for Reporting Services was first available in version 2.5 of OfficeWriter in October of 2004.
